Mazda Car Updates
- The Carbon Edition package is now available for the Mazda 3. The Carbon Edition package is available for both sedan and hatchback models, so you can drive around Iowa City in style. The package includes Polymetal Grey paint, black exterior elements including around the grille, on the wheels, and on the door mirror caps, and red leather seats. The Carbon Edition also offers a Bose stereo system.
- The MX-5 Miata now offers a six-speed automatic transmission on only the Grand Touring trim. Terracotta Nappa Leather is available on the Grand Touring trim as well. The Club RF trim adds the Brembo BBS Recaro package.
Mazda SUV and Crossover Updates
- The CX-50 is all-new. This crossover comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 187 horsepower. Turbocharged models produce 256 horsepower.
- The CX-30 now comes standard with all-wheel drive. The Carbon Edition trim has Polymetal Grey paint and red leather upholstery. The Select trim now comes standard with roof rails.
- The CX-5 gets a makeover, with smoother front and rear surfaces, reshaped headlights, and a revamped grille. All models now come standard with all-wheel drive. The former Grand Touring Reserve trim has been renamed Turbo. The Signature trim now has body-color cladding.
- The CX-9 adds the new Touring Plus trim. This trim has the same features as the Touring trim, and adds standard ventilated front seats, a power adjustable driver's seat, 20-inch black-painted wheels, a black grille trim, aluminum-colored roof rails, and a frameless rearview mirror.
